Description

CYT Junior Camp is specially designed for students ages 8-12. With inspiration from the hit movie, "Frozen," come explore musical theater with an intriguing winter theme. Students will learn techniques in singing, dancing, acting, directing, improvisation, and more.  Join us to keep cool under the magical snow we create in the desert, during an unforgettable three weeks at CYT Camp!

Camp takes place from 9:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday, for three weeks in June.

June 9th-13th
June 16th-20th
June 23rd-27th

Camp culminates with a live performance of "Frozen Jr." at 6:00pm on Friday, June 27th at Vail Theatre of the Arts on the campus of Empire High School.

Larkyn Foster

Larkyn Foster is beyond grateful to have gotten to work with this group! Larkyn has been involved with CYT since she was six, and is now an 18 year old college freshman! She has always loved acting and performing and has been in 20+ CYT productions along with many outside performances with various companies, most recently Hadestown with Innervoice Studio and The Wedding Singer with Pima Community College. She feels so blessed to have had this opportunity to learn from the incredible artistic team of Sound of Music!!

Brooke La France

Brooke is a CYT alumni who has been involved in theatre and performance for over ten years. She is experienced in directing and writing, and trained in acting, music, and voice. She is currently pursuing a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Arizona. In her free time, she loves reading, playing piano and guitar, and hiking. She has loved creating and performance her whole life, and is excited and grateful for the opportunity to bring the concepts of theatre alive for the younger crowd in Our Gang.

Location Notes:

There are entrances to the church on Woodland Ave/4th St./Craycroft Rd.. Please park in rear parking lot and walk your student onto church grounds. The site coordinator will be located at the ramada for you to sign in/out.
