Laurel Sommers has lived in Tucson, Arizona for the last 10 years. She is an artist who has painted in oils and pastels for the last 30 years. When her daughters became involved in musical theater, she took those skills to the stage. Laurel has done scenic painting and stage makeup design with CYT since 2013. When her daughters started acting in local short films, she worked on makeup and costuming for those productions. Laurel was recently hired to work as Makeup Assistant for the upcoming film “42 Seconds.” She can’t wait to teach this stage makeup class!
