Class Description

This class is designed for beginners or people who would like to sharpen their skills using the Ben Nye Personal Stage  Make-up Kit. The basic stage make-up is very important. Your eyes, cheeks, and mouth need to be defined in certain ways to show well from a distance. What looks good up close in the mirror may not show up on stage! The audience needs to see your expressions to fully experience your acting skills. Imagine how nice it would be to show up at the theater for opening night with all of your basic stage makeup done and ready to go! You could even use what you learned in class to help your friends with their make up. Parents are totally welcome to sit with their children during this workshop. It might be helpful for the student to have an extra set of hands. Paper and pencil recommended for note-taking. Parents are welcomed to attend the workshop to learn how to help at the makeup table for our productions. Great way to satisfy those volunteer hours.
Prerequisite: Must obtain Ben Nye Make up Kit in the correct shade. Information will be in your registration confirmation email. As well, we will be happy to answer any of your questions. Remember to buy and note CYT Tucson for your Amazon Smile purchase. Thank you!
