Class Description

 In this class, we will create a short mini-musical. Students will get to come up with a plot, write scripts, choose choreography and staging, and help write song parodies and/or original music! Bring your creativity and get ready to collaborate!


Sam Sierra-Feldman

Sam is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in vocal studies and a minor in creative writing. She performed in numerous CYT shows between 2007-2011 and made her CYT directorial debut as the music director for “Freaky Friday!” Sam currently serves as a church music director on the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, as a staff singer for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus, as assistant director and composer in residence for the Helios Ensemble, and as the music teacher for the Tucson Hebrew Academy. She also enjoys co-authoring the “Sam the Ant” children’s book series with her father, Enrique “Hank” Feldman and is passionately devoted to her cats and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Location Notes:

There are entrances to the church on Woodland Ave/4th St./Craycroft Rd.. Please park in rear parking lot and walk your student onto church grounds. The site coordinator will be located at the ramada for you to sign in/out.
