Our Winter Master Class Series is a lecture/workshop series of classes, that will take a deeper look at specific content areas related to various aspects of theater. In the six-part series, attendees will learn upper level performing arts skills and techniques, to enhance their ability to effectively showcase their talents and creatively tell stories on the stage. Accessible to a wide variety of ages and skill levels, these workshops will enrich the abilities of all performers. Those who register for the Master Class Series also have the option of auditioning for The Musical Revue and Winter Gala

This Master Class Series, and The Musical Revue,
are offered for youth ages 8-18. Those wishing to audition for The Musical Revue
, must register for and attend a minimum of 4 of the 6 offered Master Classes. Master Classes are also offered for those not wishing to audition for The Musical Revue.

**CHACH SNOOK “Emotion in Motion: Acting Your Song”**
Announcing one of our amazing classes lined up for the Winter Master Class series. "Emotion in Motion: Acting Your Song" is a musical theatre workshop taught by industry professional, actor, singer, director Chach Snook. It’s for performers who want to bring real feeling and storytelling to their singing. In this class, students move beyond simply hitting the notes—they learn how to connect to character, intention, and the emotional journey of a song. Through guided coaching, and performance practice, young actors discover how to use their voices, faces, and bodies to communicate meaning and make every song more powerful and meaningful. Perfect for students ready to elevate their performance and shine with confidence, honesty, and heart.
**LANCE JACOBSON "Audition Master Class"**
Lance Jacobson is thrilled to be back teaching an audition masterclass at CYT, the place where he was introduced to and fell in love with musical theatre! Lance was a CYT cast member for over 15 shows from 2016-2022, in addition to being a part of countless classes and master classes. CYT Tucson was where he met some of his life-long friends and family, and he is forever grateful for his time and training with CYT! Lance is a Jimmy Awards alum and received the Best Actor Award at the 2024 Monte Awards. He is currently a sophomore studying Musical Theatre at Arizona State University. This master class will help give students more audition experience, as well as tips on how to better prepare headshots, resumes, and 16-32 bar cuts for CYT auditions and beyond.
