Have you always been curious about sewing? Do you have a sewing machine at home given to you by your grandmother and you've never known how to use it? Join CYT Tucson's costume designer and builder, Nina Christenson, as she walks you through basics of both hand and machine sewing. Learn how to hem garments, repair items, sew on buttons, etc. You can use these new skills to help build costumes for Matilda The Musical or to create your own pieces at home! Learning a new skill is fulfilling and fun, especially as an adult!

A materials list of items you will need will be provided in advance of the first class.

Note for 16-18yo registering for this class: If you desire to audition and perform in Matilda, you must register for a different class.
